What were you like growing up?
As a child I was mischievous, inquisitive, creative and stubborn. These traits have carried through to my adult life. I enjoyed reading, writing, skateboarding, making art and playing guitar. I’m still growing up.

How do you feel about your generation? What challenges are you facing?
In some respects I’m very proud of my generation. I feel that we are challenging [as well as changing] old ideologies, stereotypes and prejudices. I think my generation will spearhead great social change, for better or worse. In my opinion, most of the challenges we as a generation are facing stem from the clashing of ideals from older generations with that of ‘new’ ways of thinking. In addition, I feel that we are experiencing something of a second industrial revolution, with the rapid expansion of technology bringing about both positive and negative developments. It’s easier to manipulate people, and bend information to your will than it was 10 years ago and I think it will only become easier in the years to come. Technology has lowered our attention span, and I feel that social networks can cultivate a sheep like mentality.

How did you get into modeling?
I’m a musician and at the time of my signing I wanted to write and record an album by myself [this changed when I joined a band]. In order to do this, I would need a nest egg to fund the project. My uncle has numerous contacts in a variety of fields and I approached him for recommendations regarding the funding of my musical project. He suggested I join a modelling agency. Initially, I thought he was joking. I scoffed and said, ‘Yes’. A few weeks later I received an email from 20 Model Management.

What do you find to be the most exciting thing about modeling?
I enjoy the fast pace of the industry, meeting interesting photographers and like minded individuals.

What are you the most passionate about?

Who are your life influencers?
The people I hold dear to me.

What do you want to do in the future?
I want to make art I feel proud of, and I would like to be involved in social rights campaigns through modelling.
