SANDRA CLAUDIA – Interview
Name: Sandra Claudia Neagu
Height: 175 cm
Charming Romanian girl Sandra of MUM (Models Under Management) agency is a basketball and books lover, who enjoys going out to quiet and comfy places, and listening to 50’s, 60’s and 90’s music. She graces the March cover of Romanian Harper’s Bazaar edition, and is ready to be placed worldwide – given her enchanting curls, no wonder she sparked plenty of interest among international agencies.
How did you get your start as a model?
A funny part of that long story…. I was scouted at the subway by Geanina Pistol, owner of MUM (Models Under Management) and a few days later, by a stylist, Elisabeta Gedo, who’s actually a good friend of Geanina. Weeks later they were talking about how they’ve meet an amazing girl with big ginger curly hair, and freckles both saying yeah! exactly! Classic, they soon realized they were talking about the same person. At that time I didn’t feel ready to be a model. But then I started thinking about this more and more. So… I met the girls, we had a cup of coffee and a loooong talk. That was my start!
What excites you the most about modeling?
The fact that you can travel all around the word, meeting people from everywhere, expressing yourself. You meet creative people and always learn new things.
If you could replicate someone’s career, who’s would it be?
J. K. Rowling
Do you have any hidden talents?
Well, I write poetry and draw…. sometimes.
Which city would you like to visit for work?
I would really like to visit Paris because it’s known for its beautiful architecture and art culture but also its fashion culture … wonderful, inspiring. It’s the place to go at least once in a lifetime. But I wouldn’t mind going anywhere else.
What is your dream job to book?
I would love to book an editorial for Vogue and to open a big show like Gucci or Chanel! I also love the work of designers like Elie Saab or Zuhair Murad. It’s so hard to choose just a few.
5 random questions:
A song that puts you in a good mood? Barry White – Sexy thing. It’s really funny, always makes me laugh.
Best vacation place? I can never decide between going to the mountains or going to the beach. Good thing Romania has mountains and the sea side at few hundred kilometers apart.
A motto you live by? „Vision without execution is just hallucination.“ – Henry Ford
When growing up, what did you want to become? I have always seen myself having a job that’s dealing with people and having the chance to help them. I like the idea of being a psychologist, helping people manage their problems.
What’s something unique about you? Nothing. I even have a twin brother. Something unique about how I look would definitely be my hair.
